If you are uncertain whether you need to have a physician look at your child, please call at 8 a.m. and talk to the nurse so that she may advise you. Office Visits

Keeping the a well-child well is one of the major goals of pediatrics. During well-child visits we are mainly concerned with observing growth and development, counseling, and teaching parents. Early detection of problems through screening exams, laboratory tests, and familiarizing ourselves with your families are other primary goals.

Health Maintenance Visit

During this time, your child’s physical and mental developments are evaluated. This will entail assessing your child’s medical history, physical examination, screening tests, counseling, and immunizations when required. If you need extra time, please tell the receptionist. Please call well ahead of time (two months) to schedule a check-up. If you cannot keep the appointment, please be considerate enough to cancel well in advance.

Preventive Care

We recommend the following schedule for preventive care: 2 months, 4 months, 6 months, 9 months, 12 months, 15 months, 18 months and 2 years. After this period children are seen a yearly basis.
